About Me

Hello! My name is Sarah Fleming, and I'm a paper addict living in central Texas. I'm an independent demonstrator for Stampin' Up! and love to teach others how to make lovely paper projects. I always have ink-stained fingers (I'm okay with that). I also knit. If you're in the USA, I'd love to be your demonstrator!

Epic Day sympathy card

Part of the card is cut off because it was so windy in Boise today that I had to actually hold the card in order to get a picture.

Part of the card is cut off because it was so windy in Boise today that I had to actually hold the card in order to get a picture. Plus I’m a crafter, not a photographer.

I got a new SU! shipment yesterday and wanted so badly to play with my new Epic Day DSP (love love LOVE this paper) last night, and the colors seemed to lend themselves to a sympathy card, so I went that direction. I used this week’s Freshly Made Sketches sketch for inspiration. I also forced myself to use two of my least favorite colors in great quantity in hopes that they will start to grow on me — Crumb Cake and Calypso Coral.

I love to layer the Bitty Butterfly punch with the Elegant Butterfly punch, so I did that here and also layered two of the Ovals Collection framelits (also a new arrival for me yesterday). For finishing touches, I went with the Crochet Trim ribbon and a strip of Basic Pearls.

Stampin’ Up! supplies used:
Paper: Crumb Cake, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, and Whisper White cardstock; Epic Day designer series paper
Ink: Pool Party
Stamp sets: Papillon Potpourri, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Punches: Bitty Butterfly, Elegant Butterfly, Word Window
Tools/Accessories: Stampin’ Trimmer, Big Shot, Honeycomb embossing folder, Ovals Collection framelits dies
Embellishments: Basic Pearls, Crochet Trim ribbon
Adhesives: Stampin’ Dimensionals

Visit my Stampin’ Up! store to find these and other great products!
