About Me

Sarahfleming1 Hello! My name is Sarah Fleming, and I'm a paper addict living in central Texas. I'm an independent demonstrator for Stampin' Up! and love to teach others how to make lovely paper projects. I always have ink-stained fingers (I'm okay with that). I also knit. If you're in the USA, I'd love to be your demonstrator!

Holly Jolly Christmas card

Fall has arrived in Idaho! And on time. It’s my favorite season of all — I would not complain if it were fall all year round. And even though I love fall for itself, part of my love for it is all of the Christmas planning it involves. And Christmas card making! You will probably start seeing a lot of Christmas cards on this blog in the next few weeks. They’re my favorite cards to make; in fact, I could make only Christmas cards and be a very happy camper.

Shiny.

Shiny.

I used the sketch at Fab Friday for this card.

FabFri27

I used the Bracket Label punch to punch out the Silver Foil shapes. I stamped the smallest snowflake from the Festive Flurry stamp set in Versamark ink, then embossed with Silver embossing powder, and cut out with the Festive Flurry framelits. I then punched 3/4″ Circles out of Silver Glimmer paper and punched each of the shapes from the Merry Minis punch pack out of Red Glimmer paper. I used Dimensionals between each layer.

I embossed the sentiment from the Tags 4 You set in Silver and punched it out using the Bracket Label, then punched a label out of Red Glimmer paper and cut that in half to frame the sentiment. The silver button is retired but is available on the Clearance Rack right now (item #129325) while supplies last. This is one of my all-time favorite buttons.

You can find all the products I used to make the card in my online Stampin’ Up! store.

Supplies used:
Paper: Cherry Cobbler (item #119685) and Whisper White (100730) cardstock; Red (121790) and Silver (124005) Glimmer paper; Silver Foil Sheets (132178)
Ink: Versamark (102283)
Stamps: Tags 4 You (C-131823, W-131820), Festive Flurry (C-131781, W-131778)
Tools/Accessories: Bracket Label punch (132153), Festive Flurry framelits (132193), Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (109131), Heat Tool (129053), Merry Minis punch pack (126882), 3/4″ Circle punch (119873), Big Shot (113439), Stampin’ Trimmer (126889)
Embellishments/Adhesives: Silver Basics Designer Buttons (129325), Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine (123125), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Glue Dots (103683)

It's nice to share!

Love all these punches layered! The bracket label especially works well with the snowflakes. And the sparkle is awesome too! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!

Hi Sarah,
I love your card! The tiny punched images are a great detail, and the glimmer paper is perfect! Thanks for playing along with us at Fab Friday.
