About Me

Sarahfleming1 Hello! My name is Sarah Fleming, and I'm a paper addict living in central Texas. I'm an independent demonstrator for Stampin' Up! and love to teach others how to make lovely paper projects. I always have ink-stained fingers (I'm okay with that). I also knit. If you're in the USA, I'd love to be your demonstrator!

I Mustache if You Like Nutcrackers

Stampin' Up! Santa Stache, Endless Wishes, Blendabilities - holiday catalog sneak peek - Sarah Fleming - Prepare to Dye

I apologize for the corny title. I’m the worst. I should have my internetting license revoked. But seriously, isn’t this guy cute??

I have several sneak peeks here from the upcoming holiday catalog. I’m over-the-moon excited about this catalog. I want all the things.  But I had to have the Santa Stache stamp set right away. That’s where the nutcracker is from. I colored him with the Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, and Smoky Slate Blendabilities. The Blendabilities are remarkably easy to color with! I’m still getting used to them, but they are getting easier. I popped out that giant mustache with the coordinating framelit (in the annual catalog), and for a fun finishing touch, I put two silver mini-brads where his buttons go.

The designer series paper is from the Trim the Tree designer series paper stack. Love this stack. The sentiment is from my all-time favorite holiday sentiments stamp set, Endless Wishes. Guess what? It’s back!! If you didn’t get it last year before it sold out, you will be able to buy it on August 28th from the holiday catalog. I’m so happy to see this set returning. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s a build-your-own-phrase-type set and also has some adorable snowflakes (one of which I used on the sentiment panel). The little “sending you” is even in that set. I punched that out with the new What’s Up punch and mounted it on a Cherry Cobbler button from the Regals Designer Buttons. I added a couple more mini-brads to the sentiment panel, and my favorite part is the little strand of tinsel I added under the sentiment. That’s not actually tinsel (is that even available anymore?). I pulled the little silver string out of the Silver Baker’s Twine (slowly unraveling it — if you just pull it out fast, you straighten out the kinks). Love it!

Happy crafting, my friends!
