Good morning! Nope, it’s afternoon already. Good afternoon!
I made this card for the Global Design Project and the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. It features the Moroccan Designer Series Paper and the Santa’s Sleigh Bundle.
I took my whole color scheme from the Moroccan DSP. I didn’t intend to. I was just planning to use that Emerald Envy piece that frames the tree and add some Real Red (because Emerald Envy + Real Red = Love). But then I started pulling out other papers, as you do, and soon I had this cozy, masculine-ish card. All of the DSP on this card is from the Moroccan pack.
All of the stamps and die cuts come from the Santa’s Sleigh bundle. I’m completely in love with the funky Christmas tree, and this is one of the most perfect reindeer stamp/die combinations. I just love his jaunty little leg. Even the sentiment and the inside sentiment come from the same set. I love when you get good graphic images and nice sentiments in the same set!
I have the sentiment popped up on Dimensionals. My tip for you is that if you’re putting anything on top of Glimmer Paper, you use glue to attach it. Not glue dots, not Dimensionals, not Tear & Tape. Liquid glue. The Multipurpose Liquid Glue (my personal favorite) and the Fine-Tip Glue Pen work great for this. So even though my sentiment is on Dimensionals, I have also glued the Dimensionals to the Glimmer Paper so the sentiment won’t fall off.
I used Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details for Rudolph’s nose. You could also use one of the Basic Pearls and color it with a red Sharpie to finish off your reindeer.

I hope you like my card today and that inspires you to make your own jaunty reindeer. A full supply list and links to the items in my store are below.
Note: The Moroccan DSP is part of the Designer Series Paper sale that ends Monday, October 31. Make sure you pick yours up today! Buy 3 get 1 free of the following packs (any combination):
