For most of my life I heard you can’t mix gold with silver, but once I got into papercrafts… well, we don’t like rules here, right?
This card is for this week’s Global Design Project challenge. The challenge is to CASE (Copy and Share Everything) this lovely card by Bibi Cameron, in whatever way we choose. I decided to use Bibi’s layout for a Christmas card. I flipped the layout on its side for my card and started with a Mint Macaron card base.
I sponged the tree onto my top Whisper White panel in Mint Macaron using a mask I made with the Perfect Pines framelits, then embossed this fab stamp from the Wonderful Year stamp set in silver and gold. I added some falling snow/confetti/your choice from the Merriest Wishes stamp set in Sweet Sugarplum (stamped off first), then some Fancy Frost sequins (LOVE these!). I finished off the card with both colors from the 3/8″ Glitter Ribbon Combo Pack and some Whisper White Baker’s Twine. I popped up the Whisper White panel on Dimensionals.
I did a live Facebook class to show you how to make the card. Here’s the video.
