About Me

Hello! My name is Sarah Fleming, and I'm a paper addict living in central Texas. I'm an independent demonstrator for Stampin' Up! and love to teach others how to make lovely paper projects. I always have ink-stained fingers (I'm okay with that). I also knit. If you're in the USA, I'd love to be your demonstrator!

Stampin' Up! Everyday Hero stamp set - masculine handmade card - dad card - Sarah Fleming - Prepare to Dye Papercrafts

Here’s a FAST, simple card I made using the Everyday Hero stamp set (you will see this a lot from me — new favorite). I’m submitting this in the Masculine challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday.

I did the superhero in Aquaman colors, because I’ll give this one to my husband if he ever earns it. Hahaha, just kidding, he earns a card like this every day. He’s awesome. Of course, the first thing he said when I showed him was exactly as I predicted. I even said, as I showed him, “I know Aquaman doesn’t have a cape or a mask, or fly in the air or anything. I just did it in Aquaman colors.” His reply: “His shirt isn’t green.” There’s no pleasing the nerd.

The washi tape strip is from the All Year Long Project Life Accessory Pack. I love this PL set so much.

Sarah, almost missed your card. Thought I had seen them all. I love your card. I have made this for my grandson and he loved it. It is a great stamp set. Thanks for joining us at Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

I also wanted to tell you the inside is great as well. I love that extra finish.

Great card, Sarah. I’m afraid my son-in-law’s comment would also have been about the costume being green. But I love the colours you’ve used. The set is perfect for the younger men (boys) in our lives as well as the older ones. (They’re all boys at heart, aren’t they”) Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
