A couple of months ago, I participated in a swap by mail with other demonstrators. I never did blog about that card, so here it is. I made two different versions, because I had 23 of them to make, and I ran out of one of the sheets of the Tasty Treats paper.
This is a Pear Pizzazz base with that gorgeous Tasty Treats paper. The Chocolate Chip paper is also from Tasty Treats. My ice cream cones are stamped in Crumb Cake, and the ice cream is Watermelon Wonder and Peekaboo Peach. I just took my color scheme right from the paper. The Chocolate Chip fudge is a die in the Cool Treats bundle. Cool, right? Ha, no pun intended.
This one has a Pool Party card base.
I stamped the sentiment in Peekaboo Peach and the sprinkles in Watermelon Wonder and cut out the sentiment with one of the Stitched Shapes framelits. The strawberry is from the same bundle. I stamped the strawberry in Watermelon Wonder and the stem in Pear Pizzazz, then cut it out with the framelit. The framelit cuts little holes in the strawberry to look like seeds. Neato!
The real star of these cards is the fudge on top. I assembled the ice cream, then added the fudge, then covered it with glue from the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. Then I dropped the sprinkles into the glue while it was wet, then added a dot of glue for each of the sprinkles that went directly on the peach ice cream. They take a few hours to dry, due to the amount of glue on them, so I just left them overnight.
