Hey! I made a couple of quick cards to play along with the Global Design Project color challenge this week, and I made one of them during a Facebook Live video.
The challenge kind of stumped me. I even did the funny head-tilt that dogs do when they’re confused when I saw the colors, because they’re colors I would never have put together.
For my free choice color, I chose Tangerine Tango, because I love it with Peekaboo Peach. I ended up LOVING this color combination. I’ll definitely use it again.
I made two versions of this card. The first one uses Whisper White cardstock with Silver/White ribbon and rhinestones. The second one uses Very Vanilla cardstock with Gold/Vanilla ribbon and pearls. I love them both. Which one do you prefer? I’d love for you to leave me a comment with your favorite.
Here’s the video, and you’ll find the supply list below. If you enjoy the video, make sure you like my Facebook page and turn on Notifications. Also, subscribe to my YouTube channel if you’re so inclined.

I LOVE BOTH of the Avant Garden cards but am slightly in favor of the Very Vanilla…Beautiful! TFS!!
Thank you, Melanie!
Thoroughly gorgeous use of the Avant Garden set and colours Sarah . I personally love the crispness of the White card but both are truly beautiful.
Thanks, Kim!
I love your cards Sarah its too close to call .. Tangerine Tango was the perfect free choice – Thanks for playing along at Global Design Project x
Love the card, but you need to spend the money and get a stable stand. Made me nauseated.
I agree, Mary. Sorry about the nausea.
Love, love your card. Great use of the colours in the challenge. Thanks for playing at Global Design Project with us this week and good luck with the guest designer pick.
Thank you so much!
This looks like fall colors to me. Love it! Glad you tried it out with the new colors.
