About Me

Hello! My name is Sarah Fleming, and I'm a paper addict living in central Texas. I'm an independent demonstrator for Stampin' Up! and love to teach others how to make lovely paper projects. I always have ink-stained fingers (I'm okay with that). I also knit. If you're in the USA, I'd love to be your demonstrator!

Magical Glossy Mermaid

Stampin' Up! Magical Mermaid with glossy cardstock - Ink Spray & Smash background technique - handmade birthday card - Sarah Fleming - Prepare to Dye Papercrafts

Hey, there!

In yesterday’s Facebook Live video, I made this gorgeous ocean background using the Ink Spray & Smash technique for glossy cardstock backgrounds. I am pretty new to glossy cardstock and am loving all the techniques you can use with it!

Check out the video to see me make this card and to also see me use the Versamark Resist technique and to see me totally fail at the Salted Background technique (which I couldn’t quite remember and did wrong in the video). You can buy all the products I used in my online Stampin’ Up! store (direct links below). Also, make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel and like my Facebook page!

I am taking signups for my Paper, Ribbon, and Embellishments shares right now. Check out the details here (including the Stampin’ Up! videos that show all of the paper).

Really like mermaid card. Very fun to see something besides flowers.
