About Me

Sarahfleming1 Hello! My name is Sarah Fleming, and I'm a paper addict living in central Texas. I'm an independent demonstrator for Stampin' Up! and love to teach others how to make lovely paper projects. I always have ink-stained fingers (I'm okay with that). I also knit. If you're in the USA, I'd love to be your demonstrator!

Stampin' Up! Tranquil Tulips and Just Add Text with Crushed Curry Mini Chevron Ribbon

Another clean and simple card for you today. Two in two days, can you believe it? Me either. The Tranquil Tulips host set is SO gorgeous, and you can only earn it with a minimum $150 order or party.

Stampin' Up! Tranquil Tulips and Just Add Text with Crushed Curry Mini Chevron Ribbon

This one is so simple that I barely have anything to tell you about it. I stamped both stamps for the flower part in the same color (So Saffron). I’ve seen lots of cards where the two stamps are done in different colors, and I like those, but this set makes it so easy to get a lovely two-tone image, even stamping in the same color. So you don’t have to over-complicate it.

I stamped all the flowers before stamping the leaves and stems. Then before stamping the leaves and stems, I masked off the flowers (stamp the flower on a post-it note over the sticky part, cut it out with Snips right on the outside edge or a little inside, and stick it over your flower before stamping). I stamped the leaves and stems in Old Olive, and you can see where I masked off, because that’s where the leaves go behind the flowers.

I flagged both ends of a strip of Crushed Curry 3/8″ Mini Chevron Ribbon and stuck it to the card base with Tear & Tape. I stamped the sentiment, from Just Add Text (love this one!), in Old Olive on a piece of Whisper White, flagged one end of that with the Triple Banner Punch, and popped it up on Dimensionals, right over the ribbon.

That’s it!

Thanks for stopping by today. You can buy all the products I used in my online store (direct links to products are below, click on the pictures).

LAST CALL for my Paper, Ribbon and Embellishments shares! I’m cutting this off on June 30th, so if you want to get in on those, let me know by tomorrow!
