Hey there! I have a bunch of projects for you today. Today is the 1st of the month, which means the Creative Crew projects are live at Splitcoaststampers. My first project is a card that I made for our sketch challenge. Here is the sketch:
I have a really hard time with sketch challenges, but I knew right away which papers I wanted to use for this sketch.
The Whole Lot of Lovely designer series paper has so many beautiful patterns in some of my favorite colors, including Tangerine Tango, my favorite orange. I used three of the patterns for my card front, layered on top of Basic Black cardstock and on a Tangerine Tango card base. Next I tied the Pear Pizzazz 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon around the card — yes, I voluntarily used Pear Pizzazz on a card! I know, I was surprised, too.
I fussy-cut the flowers from another pattern in the paper pack. These flowers are one of the main reasons I ordered this paper. They are so pretty! The sentiment and flower are stamped from the Lots of Love stamp set. I think this sentiment is perfect for so many occasions! Thinking of you, sympathy, birthday, thank you, or a simple Random Act of Kindness card.
Inside the card, I stamped the flower again (twice full-strength and twice stamped off once), then added a strip of Tranquil Tide washi tape from the Basics 2 Pack.
