The theme for this month’s blog highlight is Change of Life Circumstances. New babies, graduation, retirement, wedding, etc. I decided to show you a little baby gift set.

This past weekend I co-hosted a baby shower for an expectant mama at church, and one of the activities that the guests did was to fill out a card with “wishes for baby”. The cards are 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, so I made this mini accordion-style album to put all of the cards in so the mother will have them as a keepsake for her baby. I used the Moon Baby stamp set, along with the new Stampin’ Blends (see the list of colors I used at the very bottom of this post). And since the cards  (you can see the top of one of them in the next photo) are baby pink and gold, I used Pink Pirouette and gold.

I heat embossed both sentiments, and I gold embossed the Hearts & Stars Elements star.

This is how the album folds out when it’s untied.

I made a matching card, as you do. This stamp is also from Moon Baby, and I incorporated the gold and the Crushed Curry 3/8″ Mini Chevron Ribbon to match the album.

  1. Wow, I love your project and card, they are so beautiful, I especially like the brag book I was wanting to make something like this for my hubby’s niece who has just had their first baby but I feel a little hesitant in making it then giving it to her, as it may not be as appreciative as I would hope so. I adore the stamp set you chose, this is my favourite baby stamp set so far. The stampin’ blends just take’s the colours to the next level as we all can clearly see in your artwork. Just so lovely indeed.
