Thank you so much to those who voted for me!!

Stampin' Up! Magical Day with Magical Mates framelits, Brusho, All Things Thanks, Magical Mermaid - handmade unicorn magic gift set with Fairytale Gum - Sarah Fleming - Prepare to Dye Papercrafts

Our theme for the Blog Hop is the same as what got us here — products from the new Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration. I even used the same suite of products, the Myths & Magic suite (plus Brusho, of course!). I don’t know if y’all have noticed, but I really love the Myths & Magic suite and Brusho. I made a gift set with a card and a tag for some Fairytale Gum. As soon as I saw this gum in the store, I knew I needed to do something with it and the Magical Day unicorn.

The background on my card is made with Brusho Crystal Colour. I sprinkled on the colors in rough vertical lines across the card. First Brilliant Red, then Gamboge, then Prussian Blue, then Yellow. Then I filled in a few spots with more of each color. Then I spritzed the card with water, and this background happened, um… magically. I also put Prussian Blue and Yellow Brusho on the piece of Glimmer Paper behind the unicorn and spritzed (this time with alcohol for quick drying). The sentiment is from the Magical Mermaid set. These two sets go very well together.

For the pack of gum, I just wrapped around the same ribbon, tied it in a bow, and made a quick tag. That tassel (or unicorn tail, if you will) is from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit, as is the washi tape at the bottom of the card.

Thanks for stopping by today! Make sure to go to the next blog in the hop and hop all the way around the world with us and get lots of inspiration. Right now you’re at Sarah Fleming’s blog.

  1. Hi

How fantastic to find Fairytale gum. The card and tag are amazing, you certainly have the hang of the Brushos. These are a medium that I am not rushing out to purchase as I still have mixed feelings about them. :O)

    1. Thanks, Lorraine! I have to make myself not use Brusho sometimes, because I want to use it on every single project. So much fun. Go for it!
