Flowery Love

FB_IMG_1488872724561Hi! Welcome to Kylie Bertucci’s International Highlights Top Ten Winners  (plus me) Blog Hop! The winners from March’s LOVE-themed Blog Highlights (plus me) are hopping with Kylie today. I did not make the top ten, but Kylie chose me as her special pick for the blog hop, and I am honored! Thank you to those who voted for me, and especially to Kylie for choosing me for the blog hop!

Stampin' Up! Heart Happiness handmade love card with Lots of Lovely and Sweet Soiree paper - Sarah Fleming - Prepare to Dye Papercrafts

Our theme for the blog hop is the same as the gallery that got us here — LOVE. I decided I’d not paid nearly enough attention to Heart Happiness and decided to use the ultra-feminine floral heart as the feature on my card.

I stamped the heart in Calypso Coral on the Calypso Coral background cardstock. I also heat embossed the heart in Silver on Whisper White cardstock, then colored it in with my Stampin’ Write Markers (Calypso Coral, Lemon-Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight, Perfect Plum, Marina Mist, Sahara Sand). The “LOVE YOU” heart is from Lots of Love. The designer paper strip is from the Sweet Soiree paper pack, which is one of the most beautiful paper packs in the Occasions Catalog. I embellished the card with a strip of Lemon-Lime Twist 3/8″ Mini Striped Ribbon and some Iridescent Sequins.

Thanks for stopping by today! Make sure to go to the next blog in the hop and hop all the way around the world with us and get lots of inspiration. Right now you’re at Sarah Fleming’s blog.

Everything I used on my card can be found in my online Stampin’ Up! store. Make sure to use the April Host Code (below) if your order is below $150, and I’ll send you extra goodies! If your order is over $150, make sure to claim your Stampin’ Rewards when you check out, and you’ll still get my free gift!

  1. Love how the designer paper strip pulls the card together and moves it from Valentine’s Day to any day you’d like to say “I love you”.
