Hello! Thanks for stopping by today. Today is special, because it is World Autism Awareness Day. We are blog hopping to help raise awareness and share information that some people may not know about autism. I, for one, didn’t know that 20-30% of children with autism will develop epilepsy by the time they’re adults. I have a family member with Asperger’s, and he suffered with seizures for quite a long time. He hasn’t had them in over a year, so we are thankful for that.
I’ve been sitting on this card for about a year. This was one of the first cards I made with the Ribbon of Courage stamp set last April, but World Autism Awareness Day had already passed, so I decided to hang on to it until today. To color in this ribbon, I pulled out my Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, and Soft Sky Stampin’ Write Markers. After I colored the ribbon and stamped the sentiment (in Pacific Point), I added squares in all four colors to the bottom of the card. These are 1/2″ squares. I also added a piece of ribbon and some rhinestones.
Thanks for stopping by today! If you’d like to donate to the Organization for Autism Research, go here. And make sure to hop through the entire blog hop!
