Thank you so much to those who voted for me!!

Stampin' Up! Lift Me Up stamps with Up & Away thinlits dies, Shimmery White embossing paste, Frost White Shimmer Paint, Subtle dynamic embossing folder - handmade travel card - Sarah Fleming - Prepare to Dye Papercrafts

The theme for the blog hop is the same as the blog highlight: Travel. I have to say, I really struggled to come up with a second travel card. I don’t know why, but I was blocked. I pulled out an old favorite that I sometimes forget is even still on my shelf. The Lift Me Up stamp set and Up & Away dies make a perfect travel card. I started with a Granny Apple Green card base and made a skinny Whisper White mat. My main panel is Coastal Cabana, and I embossed that with the new Subtle dynamic embossing folder. I absolutely love the linen texture that this folder makes!

The grayish clouds in the background are made using Shimmery White embossing paste and a Pattern Party Decorative Mask. I used about two teaspoons of paste and one drop of Smoky Slate reinker so the clouds would have a slight tint but not be too gray. My medium balloon is stamped in Poppy Parade. The small balloon is stamped in Granny Apple Green. The big balloon is all die cut. The front is Whisper White, and the panels behind (there are dies for this) are Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, and Coastal Cabana. After I cut out the little basket piece, which is supposed to go behind the basket on the balloon like the other colored pieces, I glued it to the front and stamped GO on it using the Pick a Pennant stamp set.

For the white clouds, I die cut them, then painted on some Frost White Shimmer Paint, which is returning in the Holiday Catalog next month. Demonstrators can order it now, and if you order the Starter Kit in August, you can add it to your kit! I love how shiny this paint makes things! I finished off the card with Glitter Enamel Dots.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you like my card. Make sure to hop all the way through the blog hop. The designers in the hop are so talented, and you won’t want to miss any of these projects!
