Hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog today. We are being highlighted by the wonderful Kylie Bertucci, and you can VOTE for my project. The top ten winners will get to be part of an international blog hop in October, so please do go vote for me. I’d love to be in the top 10 blog hop again next month!
This month our theme is Congratulations. I decided to make a home decor piece with our theme. Of course, you could use this for inspiration and put on whatever sentiment you want. Baby, welcome, Christmas… whatever you want!
My piece is 8″x8″ and uses the Bokeh Dots stamp set with the Tailored Tag punch. I stamped the starry image over and over in Poppy Parade, Coastal Cabana, and Grapefruit Grove. Then I punched them out with the Tailored Tag punch and glued them down to a piece of cardstock. I framed that out several times and then worked on the focal point.
I first put down some Poppy Parade ribbon from the Holiday Catalog. Then I glued down a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock cut with an Eclectic Layers die. Then I added a strip of Champagne Foil cut with the Detailed Lace Edgelits. I added a torn piece of Whisper White and cut the “congrats” using the Sunshine Wishes thinlits. Finally I colored some Petal Pink Rhinestone Gems and Rhinestones with the Dark Poppy Parade Blends marker and added those.
Thanks for visiting my blog today; I hope you like my project and that it brightened up your day! Make sure you head over to Kylie’s blog to vote for my project and check out the other amazing projects in the gallery. I would love to be chosen to do the next international blog hop!
