About Me

Sarahfleming1 Hello! My name is Sarah Fleming, and I'm a paper addict living in central Texas. I'm an independent demonstrator for Stampin' Up! and love to teach others how to make lovely paper projects. I always have ink-stained fingers (I'm okay with that). I also knit. If you're in the USA, I'd love to be your demonstrator!

Simply Thankful

Hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog today. We are being highlighted by the wonderful Kylie Bertucci, and you can VOTE for my card. The top ten winners will get to be part of an international blog hop in December, so please do go vote for me. I’d love to be in the top 10 blog hop again next month!

This month, our theme is “Thank you, Shelli Gardner”. Shelli is the co-founder and board chair of Stampin’ Up!, and we as demonstrators are so thankful to be part of this wonderful company.

Stampin' Up! handmade thank you gratitude card using Country Home stamps and Stampin' Blends alcohol markers - Sarah Fleming - Prepare to Dye Papercrafts

My card base is Mint Macaron cardstock, 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″. I first stamped the square decorative stamp (which coordinates with the design in the Tin Tile embossing folder) several times across the card. I wrapped the 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim around the card twice, then tied it in a bow before adding anything else to the card. I stamped the milk jug in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Whisper White cardstock. Then I stamped the cotton arrangement in Soft Suede ink. I colored the jug with Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends (light and dark), then colored the arrangement with Cajun Craze, Mint Macaron, and Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends (light and dark). I rounded the corners of the Whisper White piece with the Detailed Trio punch and added it to the card with Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss on a piece of Whisper White cardstock, then flagged the ends with the Banner Triple punch. I added the banner to the card with Dimensionals (double-stacked where the banner doesn’t overlap the focal piece), then finished the card off with Share What You Love Artisan Pearls.

Thanks for visiting my blog today; I hope you like my card and that it brightened up your day! Make sure you head over to Kylie’s blog to vote for my card and check out the other projects in the gallery. I would love to be chosen to do the next international blog hop!

Everything I used on my card can be found in my online Stampin’ Up! store (see full supply list at the bottom of this post). Make sure to use the November Host Code (below) if your order is below $150, and I’ll send you extra goodies! If your order is over $150, don’t use the Host Code — make sure to claim your Stampin’ Rewards when you check out, and you’ll still get my free gift!
