Hi! Welcome to Kylie Bertucci’s International Highlights Top Ten Winners Blog Hop! The winners from November’s Thank You-themed highlights are hopping with Kylie today, and I’m honored to be in the winners’ blog hop again with these talented crafters! Thank you so much to those who voted for me!!
Well, this one’s a bit frou-frou for me, huh? I was dying to create with the new All My Love paper from the 2019 Occasions Catalog, and this lovely sheet was just calling my name (it makes me think of emboss resist, one of my favorite techniques!). And then things just kind of… happened… and I somehow ended up with an ultra-feminine card. My card base is Soft Sea Foam, 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″. This is one of the new colors that I’ve hardly touched. I don’t have anything against it, but I haven’t used it much. The Flirty Flamingo cardstock on top of that is 3-3/8″ x 5-3/8″. The designer series paper is 3-1/4″ x 5-1/4″.
I cut out the Lovely Lipstick heart with the Be Mine Stitched framelits (coming in the 2019 Occasions Catalog) and glued that down, then cut a Flirty Flamingo heart with a different die from the same set. I love these dies!! The little connected-hearts banner is also cut out of Lovely Lipstick. I wanted to leave all of the cut hearts inside the die cut for this card, but some of them fell out. To keep the others in place, I put Mini Dimensionals all over the back of the banner, making sure to overlap the Mini Dimensionals with both the heart and heart outline to keep them connected.
My sentiment comes from the new Humming Along stamp set from the Occasions Catalog, and I stamped it in Lovely Lipstick and punched it out with the Pretty Label punch. I popped the label up on Dimensionals (but left the Dimensionals off the part of the label that overlaps the connected heart banner). The ribbon is Flirty Flamingo 1/8″ Ribbon, and it is part of the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack (coming in the Occasions Catalog).
Above are the Humming Along stamp set and the full set of Be Mine Stitched Framelits. Demonstrators will be able to order all of the sneak peek products I showed on December 5th. Customers can get them on January 3rd. And on December 5th, they can be added to a Starter Kit!
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you like my card and enjoyed the sneak peeks. Make sure to hop all the way through the blog hop. The designers in the hop are so talented, and you won’t want to miss any of these projects!
