More of You

Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop! We are a small group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators around the world who love to share our creativity with others. You’re currently visiting Sarah Fleming in the USA. This month we are showing sneak peeks from the new Annual Catalog, which goes live to customers June 4th. It’s such a fantastic catalog! I have lots of new favorites, and I’m sure you will, too.

For my project, I am using two new stamp sets: Floral Essence and Free As a Bird. I stamped the flower from Floral Essence in Blackberry Bliss, in three generations (full-strength, stamped off once, and stamped off twice) several times on Whisper White cardstock (5-1/4″x4″). I mounted this on a Blackberry Bliss card base (11″x4-1/4″, scored and folded at 5-1/2″ — this is a book fold landscape card).

I stamped the sentiment, from the Free As a Bird stamp set, on Blackberry Bliss cardstock in Versamark ink, then covered it in embossing powder, tapped off the excess powder, and melted it with the heat tool. Heat embossing is an easy and fun way to really make a sentiment or image stand out. I popped the sentiment up on Dimensionals.

To finish off the card, I colored 11 rhinestones of various sizes with the Dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends marker and scattered those around the cardfront.

Inside I stamped another sentiment from Free As a Bird in Blackberry Bliss on a piece of 5-1/4″x4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock.

I hope you enjoyed my project today! Make sure you follow the hop all the way back to me so you can see everyone else’s projects. The designers on this team are so talented — you won’t want to miss any of the blogs!
