Hey! In yesterday’s Facebook live video, I made this shimmery card using the new Sale-A-Bration stamp set (which you can get FREE tomorrow with a $50 order!) Beautiful Peacock and the new Shimmery White Embossing Paste, available tomorrow in the Occasions catalog.
Look at all that shimmer! I am going to love this new embossing paste.
Here’s the inside of the card. Watch the video below to see how I made the card.
Thanks for stopping by! Some of the things I used in my card can be found in my online Stampin’ Up! store now, and the Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration items will be available tomorrow, January 3. If you order from my store, make sure to use the January Host Code (below) if your order is below $150, and I’ll send you extra goodies! If your order is over $150, make sure to claim your Stampin’ Rewards when you check out, and you’ll still get my free gift!
My favorite Halloween bundle from the new Holiday Catalog is easily Spooky Cat. First of all, I love a good punch bundle, and Spooky Cat has a cat punch! I seriously squealed when I saw that. And the stamp set has so many adorable images and sentiments. It’s fun. Very Harry Potter-y.
I made this card for the Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge, because when I saw the sketch, I immediately thought Spooky Cat. I pretty much followed the sketch exactly.
For my kitty and the repeated “Happy Halloween” stamping, I used the Baby Wipe technique with Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, and Peekaboo Peach reinkers. I love these colors together for fall.
For the inside of the card, I just punched a cat and glued it on.
Click here for details. Free tutorial offer ends August 20, and class kits can only be ordered through August 20.
If you earned Bonus Days coupons in July, make sure to use them in August! They expire August 31.
Buy the Carols of Christmas bundle from my online store in August, and receive a free online card class that uses the bundle! The cards are easy to duplicate, so they’re perfect for beginners, but they’re also fun for seasoned stampers. [NOTE: The cards shown are not the cards included in the tutorial.]

Hello! Welcome to Kylie Bertucci’s International Highlights, all projects made using current Stampin’ Up! products. This month’s theme is MASCULINE, which is so hard for me! But I like a challenge, so I have made two cards to share with you today, one clean and simple card and a stepped-up version of the same card. You can VOTE for my cards (the stepped-up version is the #5 entry in the linkup), and if I’m voted into the top ten, I will get to participate in next month’s blog hop with Kylie. I would love to do this blog hop, so please do go VOTE for my cards! [To vote, click on the little heart in the top right corner of the #5 photo. You will get a response dialog that says you have voted and have x number of votes remaining.]
My first card is the clean and simple version. I used the Eastern Beauty bundle, and my colors are Lemon-Lime Twist, Tangerine Tango, and Island Indigo. I love this color combo! I started with a white card base, and I first stamped the Island Indigo bracket element. Then I stamped the Tangerine Tango accent inside all four points of the brackety thingie. (I don’t know what to call these things.) Next, I stamped the Lemon-Lime Twist pointy stars above and below the Island Indigo bracket. Then I smudged the bottom of my card.
So then I cut off the bottom of my card and cut the stamped part out to mount it on a new base and re-stamped the pointy star in the exact same spot at the bottom of the new card base (because the stamp was still mounted in the MISTI). I stamped some more accents in Tangerine Tango (around the outside of the pointy bracket), then stamped the dotty circle in the center of the element. I stamped “thank you” and punched it out with the 1″ circle punch and popped that up on Dimensionals. I added two rhinestones then popped the stamped panel up on Dimensionals, lining up the bottom stamps.
This is the inside. I just stamped straight-ish across the bottom.
For the stepped up version, I switched to an Island Indigo card base and mounted the white piece on a Lemon-Lime Twist mat. This time after stamping the center bracket element in Island Indigo and Tangerine Tango, I used two dies to 1) cut out the whole piece and 2) cut around the Tangerine accents and score around the circle (the inner die does this) to pop up the Tangerine accents. For the center circle, I punched out the dotty circle (1-1/4″ circle), then punched out the “thank you” separately (1″ circle) and popped everything up with Dimensionals between each layer.
The Tangerine accents that fit into the outside corners of the center element are stamped and cut out using one of the dies. I also die cut the pointy LL Twist stars this time and put those up on Dimensionals as well. I stamped some extra Tangerine swirly accents, then mounted the matted focal piece on the base. Then I stamped the same swirlies in Island Indigo on the card base, along the left side of the focal panel. I finished off the front with rhinestones.
This time for the inside I used washi tape that’s coming in the new catalog. This is the Basics 2 washi, and I love it.
Whew! Thanks for sticking with me through all of that. Please go vote for my cards at Kylie’s blog. I would love to do the blog hop again!
Everything I showed on these two cards is available now except for the Basics 2 washi tape, which is available June 1. The CAS card uses items from the Eastern Palace Starter bundle. The stepped-up card uses items from the Eastern Palace Premier Bundle (the stamps are available in the Eastern Palace Starter Bundle, but the dies are not included in that one). The Lemon-Lime Twist ink pad is available in both the starter and premier bundles.
Thanks for stopping by!
