Good morning! I hope you’re having a fantastic weekend. We’re watching a lot of curling, playing a lot of Pandemic (Valentine’s Day present from my sweetie), and practicing a lot of baseball/softball.
This afternoon, I finally got into my craft room for the first time since Monday, and I needed to make something but just wasn’t feeling it. So I went to Global Design Project and was inspired by their colors to make a cheery card.
I went to the Annual Catalog for this card. I’ve hardly used this Home Life bundle, but I think it’s way underrated. The house is a triple-stamped image that starts with the Daffodil Delight stamp, then the Dapper Denim leaves, then fills in the teeny spaces with the Melon Mambo flowers. A die cuts out the house outline, and I cut out the stamped one and also a Dapper Denim one to give a little extra dimension to the house. Before I glued down the house, I also added a strip of paper from the Tutti Frutti DSP from the Occasions Catalog.
I had forgotten about the other cute dies that come with this bundle. After I stamped the sentiment and banner and popped it up on Dimensionals, I die cut the little tulips and leaves for little accents behind the banner. Finally I finished off the card with some Glitter Enamel Dots.

I couldn’t do a Facebook Live this week due to travel, so I made a tutorial video in its place. In the video I demonstrate two different techniques for making this night sky background with Brusho Colour Crystals (coming in the Occasions catalog!). I’m also using the new Waterfront stamp set, also coming in the Occasions catalog.
Check out the video below to see how I made these fantastic backgrounds!

This is my page, based on this layout and page by Lyssa Zwolanek.
I changed up a few things, like the color and a few extras. I’ll use this for some of our pictures we took at the lake a few weeks ago. If I’d had a Detailed Mosquito thinlit, that would be more appropriate, but we did see quite a few dragonflies, too. And also, no one would buy a Detailed Mosquito thinlit. You can find my full supply list below.
Click here for details. Free tutorial offer ends August 20, and class kits can only be ordered through August 20.
If you earned Bonus Days coupons in July, NOW is the time to redeem them! They expire after August 31st, so make sure to spend them in August!
Make sure to use the Host Code at checkout so you get extra freebies from me!
Good morning! Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop! We’re a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators around the world, and I’m in the USA. This month we are going with a Masculine theme for our hop. Masculine cards are so challenging for me!
Thankfully, we have the new Coffee Break suite to make masculine cards so easy. My card base and ink on the sentiment are Dapper Denim, and the designer paper is from the Coffee Break paper, obviously.
I cut the large scalloped circle out of Early Espresso cardstock with the Layering Circles framelits. The Soft Sky element is cut using the Eclectic Layers thinlits. Over that I added a Crumb Cake square cut with the Stitched Shapes framelits, then a 2″ Circle punched out of Soft Suede cardstock.
The tiny coffee cups are cut from the Coffee Break paper using one of the Coffee Cups framelits! I love that Stampin’ Up! is coordinating dies not only with the stamp sets but also with paper now. Behind the coffee cups, I have a little bit of the Copper Trim. The sentiment is on Whisper White and layered on top of one of the adorable Corrugated Shapes.
I finished the card off with copper sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment.
For the inside, I stamped coffee beans from the stamp set in Soft Suede.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope I’ve inspired you to get into your crafting space and make something today! Make sure you hop through all of the blogs on the hop and see what these other talented ladies have come up with — you don’t want to miss any of their projects!
I am taking signups for my Paper, Ribbon, and Embellishments shares right now. Check out the details here (including the Stampin’ Up! videos that show all of the paper).
