The January projects for my Stampin’ Blends Marker Club were made with the Magical Day stamp set. This has been, by far, my favorite month for my Blends Club! I just had a blast designing the projects. We’ve been building everyone’s marker collection, 5-6 markers at a time, so we have quite a collection now to incorporate into all the projects. I will be taking sign-ups in March for my next club, which will start in April.
Aren’t these fun?

Good morning! I hope your week is going well. I’ve been getting a lot of crafting done, so I’m a happy camper.
Today I decided to play along with this sketch from CAS(E) this sketch. I love all of the dimension in this one little sketch!
I started with my watercolor background. I laid down four different colors of ink on watercolor paper and dried each color with the Heat Tool. First I laid down Island Indigo with my Aqua Painter; I wet the area I wanted to cover with the Aqua Painter, then added the ink. I have been neglecting this color, and it’s one of my very favorites! I’m so happy to use it again. After Island Indigo was dry, I wet an overlapping section of the paper, then covered it with Bermuda Bay. After I dried that, I did the same with Fresh Fig. Then I added Marina Mist around the edges, but then I covered most of the Marina Mist with more Island Indigo.
After my background was done, I stamped snowflakes from Tags & Trimmings and Snowflake Sentiments all over the background in Versamark ink, then heat embossed it in white. I added this to an Island Indigo card base. I added the Silver Mini Sequin Trim using the Tombow glue. I cut two branches out of Whisper White cardstock with the Seasonal Layers thinlits. After I glued the right-hand ends down to the card, I covered the branches in Wink of Stella. It doesn’t show in the pictures, but the branches are very sparkly! I embossed the sentiment, from Christmas Pines, in white on Island Indigo cardstock, then trimmed it down and flagged the end with the Banner Triple Punch. That is up on Dimensionals.
I thought the card needed just a little more, so I did a little watercolor lifting to get the droplets in the background, then added quite a few dots of Wink of Stella all over the background.
The inside sentiment is also from Christmas Pines, and I added Wink of Stella to the word “sparkle” so it… sparkles.

Hello, papercrafters! I have a box to show you today. I’m not the best at boxes and bags, so I’ve been practicing making them a lot lately. This box was actually one of my Display Stamper projects for OnStage in Shreveport. The box is made from the Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. This paper will be available next week in the new Annual Catalog. I’m in love with it! Each piece is gold foil and Very Vanilla on one side, and the other side is Very Vanilla and either Soft Sky or Blushing Bride.
The base of this box and the lid are made from opposite sides of the same sheet of paper (except two sheets because of the size of the box). This is a 4″x4″x2″ box, and the lid is slightly larger (like a smidge all around), 1-1/4″ tall.
Aside from using this gorgeous new paper, I also decorated the box with retiring, brand new, and continuing (into the new catalog) items. The sentiment is from the new Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set, stamped in brand new In Color Fresh Fig. The Gold Foil is embossed with the RETIRING Happy Hearts folder. The ribbon is brand new Fresh Fig 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon (this ribbon comes in all five new In Colors), Gold Sequin Trim (RETIRING), Flirty Flamingo Baker’s Twine (new), and Hearts & Stars Elements (new).
The sentiment from Happy Birthday Gorgeous.
I love the new Hearts & Stars Elements.
It’s a fairly simple box, but the paper makes it so fancy!
You can get some of the things I used for my card in my online Stampin’ Up! store. Click on the links below. However, the stamps, Fresh Fig Ink Pad, Fresh Fig ribbon, Flirty Flamingo Baker’s Twine, and Bundle of Love paper are not available until June 1 (you can actually get the Fresh Fig ribbon as part of either of the Eastern Palace bundles right now). Demonstrators can order everything except the Bundle of Love paper right now, so if you can’t wait, click the blue join button above, and join my team! And remember the Gold Sequin Trim and Happy Heart embossing folder will retire forever after the 31st of May, so get those now if you want them.
Today’s Facebook Live video features all new products that will be available in just over two weeks in the new Annual Catalog. June 1 you will be able to buy all of these items! Demonstrators can already buy everything you see here *except* the Ribbon of Courage stamp set (I got it for free at our OnStage convention). I also show you all the NEW stuff I got in my preorder, so if you want to see some more stuff I haven’t shown you yet, check it out.
The photo above is truest to the colors of all of these photos. Berry Burst is really a bright fuchsia. This also gives you the best look at that ADORBS Bitty Bow. You MUST own these Bitty Bows (and you can buy them now in your Starter Kit if you sign up as a demonstrator for $99 — no further obligation after you buy your kit, and you get $125 in products that you choose, plus free shipping on your Starter Kit!). These felt bows come in the five In Colors, and you can see them all in the video.
Inside the card. Here’s the video:
