Hi! Welcome to Kylie Bertucci’s International Highlights Top Ten Winners Blog Hop! The winners from December’s flower-themed Blog Highlights are hopping with Kylie today, and I’m honored to be in the winners’ blog hop again with so many talented crafters! Thank you so much to those who voted for me. Y’all are the best.
Our theme for the Blog Hop is the same as what got us here — flowers. I even used the same suite of products, the Sweet Soiree suite. I just adore this floral cake and all the parts that come with it.
The background paper is actually a card from the Sweet Soiree Memories & More Card Pack. Y’all, this is one of my favorite card packs we’ve ever had. Ever. It’s beautiful. This is a FREE Sale-A-Bration item that you can get with a $50 order, and it has become one of my very favorite Sale-A-Bration freebies.
I actually didn’t use the stamp set from the suite (Cake Soiree) on this card. I made the cake stand out of Silver Foil sheets using one of the Sweet Cake framelits. The cake itself is not stamped at all. That is from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit. It comes already colored and embossed. I added some Shimmery White Embossing Paste to the cake using a Palette Knife and the Sweet Soiree Decorative Masks. Then I added the bunch of flowers, which is also from the Embellishment Kit.
The white frame is a piece of Whisper White cardstock, and the tiny silver stripes on the bottom are washi tape that comes in the Embellishment Kit. The sentiment is from Beautiful Bouquet.
Thanks for stopping by today! Make sure to go to the next blog in the hop and hop all the way around the world with us and get lots of inspiration. Right now you’re at Sarah Fleming’s blog.
Everything I used on my cards can be found in my online Stampin’ Up! store. Make sure to use the January Host Code (below) if your order is below $150, and I’ll send you extra goodies! If your order is over $150, make sure to claim your Stampin’ Rewards when you check out, and you’ll still get my free gift!
Hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog today. We are being highlighted by the wonderful Kylie Bertucci, and you can VOTE for my project. The top ten winners will get to be part of an international blog hop in January, so please do go vote for me. I’d love to be in the top 10 blog hop again next month!
This month, our theme for the Blog Highlight is Flowers. I was happy to see the theme, because I have wonderful new stuff to play with from the upcoming Occasions catalog. I’m showing the Sweet Soiree suite, featuring the Cake Soiree bundle. The background papers are actually cards from the Sweet Soiree Memories & More Card Pack, which you will only be able to get for FREE during Sale-A-Bration (January 3 – March 31, 2018) with a $50 order. This is one of the most beautiful Memories & More products we’ve ever had and is perfect for making quick and easy cards.
No, I’m serious! This card was quick and easy! Okay, quick-ish. But easy! I glued down the first M&M card. Then I popped the second M&M card up on Dimensionals. I stamped the gorgeous flowered cake from Cake Soiree in Rich Razzleberry on Whisper White cardstock and cut it out with the matching framelit. I colored the flowers with Powder Pink, Old Olive, Marina Mist, and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Markers. I painted Wink of Stella on the white top of the cake, and the top of the bottom layer of the cake, though you can’t see it in the photos. It’s really pretty and sparkly, though! I cut the cake stand out of Champagne Foil with the Sweet Cake framelits — isn’t it fantastic?? I love that intricate detail.
I stamped the sentiment, from the same stamp set/bundle, in Rich Razzleberry and punched it out with the Classic Label punch. I finished the card off with some Calypso Coral ribbon. I love how flawlessly this whole suite coordinates, and I can’t wait to show you even more projects using this suite!
For the inside, I stamped more stamps from Cake Soiree in Rich Razzleberry and colored the images in with Powder Pink and Marina Mist. The strip of paper down the left side is from the Sweet Soiree specialty designer series paper. You are going to LOVE this paper!
Thanks for visiting my blog today; I hope you like my card! Make sure you head over to Kylie’s blog to vote for my card and check out the other amazing projects in the gallery. I would love to be chosen to do the next international blog hop!

Hello, and welcome to the International Blog Highlights featuring only current Stampin’ Up! products! We are being highlighted by the lovely Kylie Bertucci, and you can VOTE for my project! The top ten winners will get to be part of an international blog hop, so please do vote for my card.
Our theme for this highlight is Weddings. This is perfect timing, since June starts the big wedding season here in America. I decided to make a white-on-white clean-and-simple card. The little designs all over the card are cut using the Flourish Thinlits. I just got this set in this week and couldn’t wait to use it! I love how when you add die cuts that are the same color as the card base, it looks like you embossed one section of your card.
I had planned to heat emboss the sentiment in silver, but when it came time to stamp it, I suddenly wanted Night of Navy instead. The sentiment is from the Falling For You stamp set, which is sadly retiring. It’s only guaranteed until May 22, and after that it will be *while supplies last*, so if you want this beautiful set, make sure to order it soon! And then, of course, I needed a spray of rhinestones. Everything is better with a spray of rhinestones.
Thanks for stopping by today. Please head over to Kylie’s blog to VOTE for my card and see the other cards in the blog highlights. I’d love to take part in the next International Blog Hop!
Stampin’ Up!’s new Falling in Love designer series paper is stunning by itself, but paired with the new Special Reason bundle, it slays.
Look at that GORG paper!! Lookit! I seriously haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since I got it in my preorder last week! Every pattern is just stunning. I have a feeling I’ll end up buying more than one pack of this stuff. I mean, it’s just paper, and I shouldn’t be that excited about paper, right? Nope, WRONG, just wait until you see it in person. So much bokeh, so much sparkle. It’s delicious (I wanted to say “delish”, but I already said “gorg”, so I maybe need to rein myself in.
That flower is die-cut using the Stylish Stems framelits dies. Don’t you love that it cuts the flower negative?? So unique and fun! And it really shows off the paper and makes such a statement on your card.
I made this card during my weekly-ish Facebook live video. Watch it if you’d like to see how I made my card. The paper and the bundle will be available on January 4 when the Occasions catalog starts. Y’all are going to love this catalog! And Sale-A-Bration starts the same day, so it’s double awesome. If you haven’t ordered from me in the past year and would like to get your free Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure from me, sign up, and I will send you one.
True story: I didn’t realize there was some drama going on outside the craft room during my live video. While I was filming, my son started throwing up everywhere. Good thing I got up to close the door! [Yep, it went through the whole family, and my life this week has been showers, baths, laundry, and puke. Hooray.] If you haven’t liked my Facebook page, make sure to do so, and turn on Notifications so you get all the latest and greatest.
If you can’t wait to order these gorgeous things in my post and the new goodies I showed you in my video, you can order today by joining my team, unofficially called The Brute Squad, because Stampin’ Up! demonstrators can order from the Occasions catalog and earn Sale-A-Bration freebies now! You’ll get the 20% (minimum) discount until at least the end of April, and I will never pressure you to sell anything (I originally signed up for the discount, too!).
Don’t forget that the retiring Holiday Catalog items will only be available while supplies last! Stamps will still be produced through December 21, but everything else is gone when it’s sold out. See the full list of retiring items along with the clearance rack here.
Remember when you place your order online to use December’s host code so you get my extra Host Code goodies in the mail from me!
