Hello! It’s been kind of a crazy week here. Our first day of co-op is in the books for this semester. I’m teaching knitting to middle schoolers! I was a little scared, because what if they just stared at me and I fumbled along awkwardly praying for the end of class bell to ring? But of course they were wonderful, and we were all sorry when the bell rang. In other news, my sweet little toddler has the flu or something like it (the flu test was negative, but the doctor was like, “Nah, she totally has the flu”). She seems much better today and has finally started eating again.

Hi, and welcome to the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop! This is a monthly hop with Stampin’ Up! friends around the world; you’re currently visiting Sarah Fleming in the USA. This month’s theme is Favorite DSP (designer series paper). This one was a hard one to choose! I have lots of favorites from the Annual Catalog, but my new current favorite is full of BRIGHT, bold colors, so I am in love. It’s the Picture Perfect Party paper from the upcoming Occasions Catalog.
This DSP is fantastic and super meta. Yes, meta. Okay, so the designer of the paper designed the patterned side. Then used the paper from the patterned side to make party-related things, like hats, bows, etc. Then SU photographed the things made with the patterned side of the paper, and those pictures are the other sides of some of the paper! That’s so cool that it kind of blew my mind.
I used the new Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set for the sentiment, and the little present comes from the Party Hat Birthday set. And look at the Glimmer Paper! It’s the new Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper. The ribbon is Berry Burst Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you like my card and that you’ve been inspired to go make something today. You are currently visiting Sarah Fleming in the USA. Please see the list below & hop through all of the people on the list to see all of our projects. You don’t want to miss any!

For yesterday’s Facebook Live video, I made a Mini Treat Bag and matching card using the Watercolor Christmas stamp set. I colored the Silver 3/8″ Metallic-Edge Ribbon with the Dark Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends marker. Love!

Hey, everyone! Today I have a fall-themed birthday card for you. I’m using the Colorful Seasons bundle along with the Stampin’ Blends (surprise!). This card makes me miss Idaho so much! We had a gorgeous silver maple in our back yard that had the most brilliant, fiery red leaves in the fall.
I’m playing along with the Fusion Card Challenge (Autumn Leaves) today. I decided to just use the photo for my inspiration today.
I stamped the leaves in Cherry Cobbler ink, and after it was dry, I colored the leaves using the Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. I also used the Color Lifter as needed (and to fix lots of little errors). After coloring the leaves, I sponged around the whole edge of the cardstock in Cherry Cobbler ink with a Stamping Sponge.
I added a Gold Glimmer Paper leaf cut with the Seasonal Layer thinlits (just because I decided my card needed some gold sparkle), then added the sentiment with some Gold Metallic Thread behind it. The sentiment is from Beautiful Bouquet and cut with the Lots of Labels framelits. After barely using these at all last year, I find that I use them all the time now!
On the inside, I stamped a leaf and another sweet sentiment from Beautiful Bouquet. I sponged the edges of the cardstock again before adding it to the card.
