Hey! Sorry for my absence… We’ve had a lot of sickness around our house, and frankly also a lot of house cleaning. Sometimes I have to just pause and get some things done so I don’t go crazy. :)
Okay, so this is really late for this year’s Thanksgiving, unless you’re a last-minute person like I am. But I figured I’d show you anyway in case you need some last-minute crafty ideas for your Thanksgiving table. Or you can be early for next year! See, my family does Thanksgiving as an enormous extended family, and always the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so I still have plenty of time. Ha!
Okay, first the name tag. The pumpkins (from Pick a Pumpkin) are stamped in Tangerine Tango, Peekaboo Peach, and 2nd generation Peekaboo Peach (stamped off once), then cut with the Patterned Pumpkins thinlits. The leaves are cut out of Painted Autumn paper and Gold Glimmer Paper using the Seasonal Layers thinlits. I put everything on the Thick Very Vanilla tag using my favorite glue and Mini Dimensionals. Make sure to leave room at the bottom for the twigs. I got these craft twigs from Amazon and just hot glued them across the bottom of the front and back of the tag. I wrote the names on with a Journaling Pen.
For the utensils, I made a pouch out of Early Espresso cardstock and taped it together (in the middle of the back and along the bottom) with Tear & Tape. I reinforced the Tear & Tape with the liquid glue just to make sure everything stays together. The Tear & Tape will hold it just fine, but just in case. I cut the Very Vanilla accents with the Patterned Pumpkin dies and glued those down to the top. Then a stitched Tangerine Tango circle cut with the Stitched Shapes framelits on top of those. Then the gold strip on the bottom is punched with the Ticket Tear Border Punch (on sale in the Online Extravaganza right now!). The paper is the Painted Autumn paper again — I am so in love with these pumpkins! After I glued on the paper, I added more Very Vanilla accents, then a couple of Gold Glimmer vines. I cut the large pumpkin out of Very Vanilla cardstock and Painted Autumn paper. I also hand-cut the same shape around the pumpkin again and glued the outline of the Very Vanilla pumpkin to that, so I’d have something to glue the negatives to. I used the negatives from the Painted Autumn paper. The pieced pumpkin is on Dimensionals. I stamped the greeting from the At Home With You stamp set and punched it out with the Classic Label punch. After adding the utensils and napkin, I tied them up with some Jute Twine.
This is a matchbook treat holder for mini packs of candy corn. The matchbook is made of Tangerine Tango cardstock, and after all the cutting and scoring, the bottom is stapled right underneath where the knot of the bow is. For the treat holder, I used the same stamps, dies, and paper, but also added Lemon-Lime Twist for a couple of the stamped accent pieces and Early Espresso cardstock for one of them. The bow is Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon. This stuff is so gorgeous!
Happy Thanksgiving! I’ll actually have a post tomorrow morning if you get tired of turkey and would like a crafty palate cleanser. ;)

Hey! In yesterday’s Facebook Live video, I made this card using the Pick A Pumpkin bundle, a stamp from the September Paper Pumpkin, the Cable Knit embossing folder, and the Painted Autumn designer series paper (included in the DSP sale!).
Aren’t these pumpkins adorable? Check out the video to see how I made the card. Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel while you’re there, and Like and follow my Facebook page to catch me live in the future.

Hey everyone! Here’s another one of the cards I made in my DSP (designer series paper) Facebook Live video yesterday.
A couple of tips for recreating this card:
*I used two designs from the Painted Autumn paper for this card. You can recreate this card using the same layout but changing up the paper — either use different designs from Painted Autumn, or use a different paper pack altogether. Just choose your card base and white (Whisper White or Very Vanilla) based on the colors in your DSP. Here I could have gone with Lemon-Lime Twist, Early Espresso, Peekaboo Peach, Soft Sky, Very Vanilla, or even Tangerine Tango for my card base, and the card would have had a completely different look. So play around with it.
*I stamped the leaf in Peekaboo Peach, then cut it out with the matching framelit (see supply list below). Then I used the pen end of my Tangerine Tango marker (available in the Brights pack of markers or the full set of Many Marvelous Markers) to draw in some more definition on some of the lines. My goal here was just a little more definition, to give the leaf a different look.
I tied the Touches of Nature Element to the leaf with Linen Thread, but you might want to add a dab of glue to the back of it, too, just in case.
*By the way, this is my customer thank you card for October, so if you’d like to receive one of these, just order from my online store in October! Make sure to use the host code (see below) when you shop so you get extra freebies from me.
Hey, everyone! Today’s cards are from my team meeting last month. I designed the card above for a simple fall-themed card. I’m absolutely smitten with the Painted Autumn designer series paper and wanted my team to get their hands on it, too. The colors are amazing! It doesn’t hurt that Tangerine Tango is heavily featured. #favoriteorange The pumpkin is cut from a sheet of the paper.
At the meeting, my team member Pam cut out a trio of pumpkins for the same paper, and I LOVED that, so I copied her for this version. This piece of paper is the back side of the paper in the first card. This time my sentiment is from the All Things Thanks stamp set.
We stamped the leaves on the inside with the Lovely Friends stamp set.
