Good morning! I hope you’re doing well. I’ve actually been down with migraines for a few days. I have a call in to my doctor, hoping she will call in a migraine med for me today so I can get some relief. Anyway. This week’s challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper is a color challenge. We’d love to see what you make; hopefully the blog will be working this week, and everyone can play along! It’s not working right now, but hopefully it will be soon, and you can go see the design team’s lovely creations and show us your take on the challenge.
Our colors this week are Pale Mint, Light Pink, and Navy. I am using Mint Macaron, Powder Pink, and Night of Navy. My card base is Mint Macaron, and the designer series paper background comes from the Twinkle Twinkle dsp. This is my favorite dsp in the entire catalog. It’s just stunning. The banners behind my sentiment are cut using the Bunch of Banners framelits. The sentiment piece is first stamped in Powder Pink with the sparkly stamp from the Bokeh Dots stamp set. Neither of the pictures I got show you the detail in that stamp, but it’s really lovely! This is one of the new distINKtive stamp sets. The sentiment is from the Little Twinkle stamp set, stamped in Night of Navy. I cut out the sentiment piece using one of the smaller Stitched Shapes framelits squares. I turned it into a rectangle using the Partial Die Cutting technique. I finished the card off with Rhinestones and a Lovely Lipstick Tinted Faceted Button. I love these things!
Everything I used on my card can be found in my online Stampin’ Up! store. Make sure to use the July Host Code (below) if your order is below $150, and I’ll send you extra goodies! If your order is over $150, don’t use the Host Code — make sure to claim your Stampin’ Rewards when you check out, and you’ll still get my free gift!
