Brightly Frosted

Good morning! Guess what?! It’s still cold here! I’m so excited to have a cool, even cold, October. Last year when I took the kids to the pumpkin patch, it was in the 90s. So this is just fantastic for this cold-loving girl. Of course I’m inside, dressed in layers with the heat on, but y’all, I’m so energized by the cold that I spent the whole day yesterday cleaning my house and hanging things on the wall. And enjoyed it!

Stampin' Up! First Frost bundle with Frosted Bouquet framelits, Tin Tile Dynamic embossing folder - Sarah Fleming - Prepare to Dye Papercrafts

The card I have to show you today is CASEd (copy and selectively edit) from our demonstrator magazine. One of the perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is that we get a quarterly magazine full of ideas and tips, plus weekly emails full of the same. When I saw this card, it sang to me, and I knew I had to recreate it. I changed a couple of things, but not much.

My card base and embossed piece (embossed with the new Tin Tile Dynamic embossing folder) are both Coastal Cabana. On the card base, I stamped a branch from the First Frost stamp set in Bermuda Bay. Then added the embossed piece with Dimensionals. On top of that, I put a strip of Granny Apple Green 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon using Tear & Tape.

All of the stamping on this card uses the First Frost stamp set, and all of the die cuts are from the Frosted Bouquet framelits. You can get the stamps and framelits separately or in a bundle together for 10% off. The flowers are all stamped on Whisper White cardstock using Lovely Lipstick, Daffodil Delight, and Grapefruit Grove ink. The Daffodil Delight flowers are inked with the Daffodil Delight ink pad, and then I sponged Grapefruit Grove into the centers of the flowers, then stamped. The leaves are done in Granny Apple Green. I die cut the branches from Granny Apple Green, too. I stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay. I finished the card off with some Clear Epoxy Droplets (from the Frosted and Clear Epoxy Droplets). These are my favorite new embellishments.

Everything I used on my card can be found in my online Stampin’ Up! store. Make sure to use the October Host Code (below) if your order is below $150, and I’ll send you extra goodies! If your order is over $150, don’t use the Host Code — make sure to claim your Stampin’ Rewards when you check out, and you’ll still get my free gift!
